Silver Flutes and Golden Shine
There’s a charming saying that growing grapes is like writing poetry with the land, and wine is the magical expression of that poetry. You might even hear that wine is poetry in a bottle. Over the years, many poets have found inspiration in wine and penned beautiful verses about it. This poetic spirit reminds us of Dragutin Tadijanović, a beloved poet whose work feels just right as we celebrate the silver medals our wines earned recently.
Recently several of our wines took home silver medals with a golden shine at the Pomurje Fair in Gornja Radgona. What does the golden shine mean? It’s our way of saying we were incredibly close to winning gold—sometimes only few decimals! That’s how tight the competition was.

The winning wines in our collection include Pinot Gris, Pinot Gris Rosé, Yellow Muscat, Merlot, and Knight’s Red.
Last year, at the same wine fair, we were national champions with a grand gold medal for our fragrant Traminer wine made from a selected berry harvest.
These awards are a nice nod from the experts who judge wine quality, but they also give extra confidence to wine lovers who appreciate the finer things in life.
Golden shine
What makes wine so special is that it’s truly an art form, and like all art, it’s very subjective. Even the most experienced wine experts agree that everyone’s taste is different.
